About Us

About NPAG

Founded in October 1953 by Richard and Helen Teeter, North Pole Assembly of God is a Spirit-filled church rooted in the heart of Alaska’s interior. Our community is uniquely placed only 14 miles southeast of Fairbanks, 386 miles north of Anchorage, and just half a mile from the Santa Claus House right in the center of North Pole.

Our mission is clear: to love God and love people. We live this out through community outreach, gathering weekly to worship, pray, and encourage one another in faith.

Each Sunday morning, our worship team leads us in songs of praise and thanksgiving, followed by a message from one of our pastors that points us toward Jesus and His Word. We are a family-oriented church where people are known, loved, and welcomed.

Because of our location near military bases, we often meet new families and send others on to their next chapter. We see this as part of our calling: to welcome, disciple, and send families to continue the mission of Jesus wherever they go.

At NPAG, we are passionate about missions, committed to the Great Commission, and eager to see Christ made known in North Pole, Alaska, and beyond.

Here, you’re part of the family. We would love to meet you and welcome you into our church community.
