Serving North Pole, AK since 1953

About NPAG

Established in October of 1953 by Richard and Helen Teeter, North Pole Assembly of God is a small town, Spirit-filled church situated between two military installations in the interior of Alaska.

Located 14 miles southeast of Fairbanks, 386 miles north of Anchorage, and half a mile from the Santa Claus House (which North Pole is known for), we’re right in the middle of our city.

Our heart, (our mission) is to love God and love people. We do this through outreach in our community, and by taking weekly opportunities to gather, worship, pray, and fellowship.

During our Sunday Morning gathering, a praise band leads us in songs of admiration and thanksgiving to the Lord. Then, one of our pastors preaches a sermon.

Those sermons are uploaded to our YouTube channel at 5:00pm every Tuesday.

We consider ourselves a family church; everybody knows each other. Due to our being in a military community, we’re often meeting new families and saying goodbye to others. We’re a sending church!

We’ve made it our job to receive military families that come to our church, train and disciple them, and then send them out to do the mission of Jesus at their next duty station.

We’re passionate about missions, we believe in fulfilling the Great Commission, and we desire to reach the world and see Jesus be the heart of North Pole Alaska.

You’re accepted here at NPAG! We’d love to get to know you, and bring you into our church family.

We would love to have you join us!
